The writing. Riley Redgate is a beautiful writer! She made me feel deeply for all the characters and I rooted for them throughout the book. AND A NON-OPEN BUT OBVIOUS ASEXUAL CHARACTER! Seriously guys, this book was so diverse. The diversity. LET’S HEAR IT FOR AN OPEN PANSEXUAL CHARACTER.
Oh my gosh, I LOVED them together! They complimented each other perfectly and it gave me so many FEELS! I shipped them from the very beginning and was so, so, so happy when they got together in the end.
This isn’t a spoiler the romance starts right away. The romance. The main romance in Seven Ways We Lie was between Matt and Olivia. The characters were the driving force of this novel and they excelled! I can’t possibly pick a favorite because I love them all so much! Their problems were super realistic and relatable. The characters. The people in this story were FLAWED and REALISTIC! I found a small piece of myself in every single one of these characters.
I had so much fun trying to figure out which character was which sin and seeing how that played out. The element with the sins. Each character was based off one of the seven deadly sins. Hey guys! Today, I will be reviewing my favorite book of 2016 so far: Seven Ways We Lie!!! This book was incredible! For the unlikely allies at the heart of it all, the collision of their seven ordinary-seeming lives results in extraordinary change. When that scandal bubbles over, and rumors of a teacher-student affair surface, everyone starts hunting for someone to blame. And like every high school, every student has something to hide-whether it’s Kat, the thespian who conceals her trust issues onstage or Valentine, the neurotic genius who’s planted the seed of a school scandal. It’s got the same cliques, the same prejudices, the same suspect cafeteria food.
